International Conference on Sustainable Airport Pavement Management (SAPM)
First launched in 2024, this conference is a specialised conference series hosted in Singapore, addressing the unique challenges of airport pavement sustainability and resilience.
About SAPM
SAPM is jointly organised by Changi Airport International of Singapore and the Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore). The 1st SAPM was successfully held in 2024. It is the intention of Changi Airport International of Singapore and Pavement Engineering Society (Singapore) to hold the SAPM Conference and provide a common platform for effective sharing of ideas, skills, knowledge, techniques, experiences and good practices among the airport operators, industry and professionals worldwide. Through the presentations, discussions and deliberation at the conference, it is hoped that critical challenges, good airport development practices, new techniques, and knowledge would be identified in the process.

To achieve this goal, the technical program of the two-day SAPM Conference will comprise four main sections: Section A will focus on topics of current interest related to sustainable airport pavement management and experience in their implementation. This is followed by Section B, featuring forums that gather views on selected topics from invited experts of airports. Section C will consist of presentations of reviewed offers selected from submissions of the Symposium’s Call for Presentations. Section D would comprise technical field visits and workshops.

The aim of the SAPM Conference is to serve as a global platform for airport operators, industry experts, and professionals to exchange ideas, skills, knowledge, techniques, and best practices in airport pavement development and management.
